Our newspapers are designed to provide information about distant places in a format that children will enjoy reading so much that they do not realise that they are learning at the same time!
Not only do they offer lively and informative stories about distant places, we produce the St Lucia Enquirer, The Serekunda Enquirer(Africa), The China Enquirer, The Rainforest Enquirer (KS2), The Toucan Times and The India Enquirer. Apart from the latter, they have the feel and readability of a tabloid newspaper.
Teachers can use them to support geography teaching about the places focussed in the newspaper. However they can be used for enhancing reading skills and for analysis of different forms of writing.
