Join us for our first B&C Educational Teachers’ Meet on Tuesday 21st March 2017 at Nettl Business Store, Great Charles Street, Birmingham.
This evening session will bring together primary teachers from across the West Midlands who we have worked with on a number of projects. The idea is to share good practice on a number of levels and in a variety of places. We have invited teachers to talk about their experiences of:-
• participating in one or more the B &C Educational study visits to the Gambia
• making successful overseas school links and partnerships
• hosting overseas visitors
• being part of an inter-schools UN style conferences
• setting up an after school global or environmental club using external funding
There will also be a short presentation on our charity Abooku, which developed the Baobab Reading Scheme for use in Gambian schools.
There will be opportunities for the teachers to inspect our resources and find out how ACE and Nettl can help schools. Teachers will also be networking and developing ways of making links with other primary schools across the West Midlands.
